Thank God for Excedrin
May. 24th, 2004 08:17 pmNote to self, and other Migraine sufferers- always carry painkillers with you. It is not good to have to leave work early because your hands are shaking and you can't see straight and you feel like you might faint and all the other joys of migraine. Got one at work, didn't have any Tylenol or Excedrin with me, so I cut out half an hour early- I tried to tough it out, but it got so bad I couldn't take it. So I came home, changed into pjs, took some Excedrin and curled up on the couch. Started to feel better by dinner, ate dinner, curled up in my parents bed, and now I feel lots better. Gonna pack some tylenol in my purse though, to prevent this from happening in the future. I really wanted someone to cuddle with though. And maybe someone to read to me- I usually watch tv or a movie, b/c the quiet is hard for me, but the couch I curled up on is in a room that doesn't have a tv. Three guesses as to who I wanted to curl up with...
Also, it's amazing how recovering from a migraine makes you feel celebratory.
