I don't think these results are accurate. I can accept that verbal-linguistic is your highest intelligence, but mathematical-logical your lowest? Mom

I think it's a flaw to assume that math and logic are the same intelligence. And it's clearly a flawed test- it asks you to agree with statements on a "rarely" to "almost always" scale. And things like Intrapersonal skills- well, what if someone thinks they understand people's motivations but really has no clue?

I agree

I've gotta agree with you. Took the quiz myself, and it just asks you what you think your strengths and weaknesses are, it doesn't ask you to answer questions demonstrating them. To a large degree it'll just tell you that you're good at the things you think you are good at.

btw, it pegged me as Musical/Rhythmic 96%
Visual/Spatial 86%
Verbal/Linguistic 82%
Logical/Mathematical 71%
Intrapersonal 68%
Interpersonal 57%
Bodily/Kinesthetic 29%

I figure some of the time I'm giving myself too much credit, and some of the time not enough. I think pretty highly of my love of music, my map-reading skills, my writing ability, and my math skills (while conversely I can't draw a straight line), but whether a subjective test would support my high opinions is another matter entirely.

Regarding math and logic... Math is by it's very nature logical, and I can see reasoning to call them one intelligence. However, culturally we attach a stigma of "it's hard" to math that we don't apply to generic logic. It's been my observation that there are many people who would be good at math if they simply didn't fear it (and constantly assume it to be harder than it is, making things more difficult for themselves). I don't know if these are people who are otherwise strongly logical or not, though. But I definitely think that people have a strong tendancy to underestimate their own abilities in math because of cultural pressures.

That's a good point. Many people think that math is hard and nerdy, when really it's fun. But while I'm good at logic and geometry, and I did well in Calculus, I'm not very good at arthimitic, and certain kinds of math problems. But I am (I think) good at making a logical argument using words. So a person can have the logic skills to be say, a lawyer, but not be skilled enough at math to be say, a physicist.
