Ok, so I did get paid today. Huzzah. No taxes taken out of it, which I think means that they're treating me as an independent contractor, which is not fun for the tax paying. But money in the bank is a happy thing.
I am inspired to post by two things: a) Boss Kate is gone, and so I am taking a break from folding and stuffing
b) I just checked my gmail account, and was amused by the ads that accompanied a certain email (I can't tell you which, b/c it gives away an answer)
I am ending the contest at the end of the month, and working on tallying scores right now. I should get that done tonight, as I don't have homework due tomorrow (that's what happens when you don't have class). I think I'll go down to the Mall though for the Native American stuff that's going on.
Wearing a skirt today, which only goes to my knees (gasp, the indecency), and I think that some guys who drove by whistled at me. Vaguely disturbing and yet flattering too. Generally having strange men do that is both of those things. Got to the bus stop and realized I didn't have my SmartTrip card, but I did have exact change, so no big (there's only like $2.50 on my card anyway).
Those are the highlights. I am hungry and do not want to work, but I will stick labels on the envelopes and it will be ok. Only 45 minutes left anyway.
