Santa was very good to me

lotusbiosmI got a new computer from Mom and Dad, which is really the only thing I wanted/needed (and of course Dad gave me some peripherals to go with it). Also some pretty earrings and a sweater from Mom, and a book.
And fic! Dex talked me into doing Yuletide this year, and I'm so glad I agreed. For Yuletide, you pic three or four obscure fandoms that you want to read fic in, and then you volunteer. I finished mine the day it was due (of course), and then after submitting it was terrified that my recipient wouldn't like it, but I've already gotten positive feedback from other readers. But! I also got two fics, written just for me! And they are wonderful and I love them and I want to thank my Yuletide Santa(s) (who is/are currently anonymous). I didn't do the "Dear Yuletide Writer" post here on my LJ because I felt like I said everything I wanted to say on my requests. But consider this my official thank you note: I loved what you did with To Say Nothing of the Dog. It's my favorite book ever, so anything in the universe would have made me happy, but I love that it's about the cats and there's just the teeny-tiniest hint of pre-slash and just *squee*! Also, my stocking stuffer is delicious and I <3 it. Thanks!
Also, I am home for Christmas, which is nice. My trip was completely uneventful, and there's snow! It even snowed today! YAY!
