lotusbiosmToday my parents are coming and bringing me things. I have to get rid of all the cardboard from the IKEA flatpacks lying all over my floor first.
I have plants, and they're growing! I have seedlings sprouting up from the oregano I planted, and one of the other plants (I can't remember if it's my strawberry or geranium), and my bonsai seeds have sent up seedlings. I was so scared that they wouldn't.
Elizabeth and I constructed my bed/desk, and I finished putting in the screws yesterday, and built a bookshelf. The dresser is waiting. I do still need to purchase a large bookshelf, but the shipping is ridiculous. I'm going to see if I can get J to go with me to IKEA to help with the lifting and with the building.
Little by little, though, I'm falling in love with the place, as I make it my own.
