Bus Adventures

lotusbiosmSo, I have these big huge headphones that are quite conspicuous. And yet, for some reason, people insist on talking to me while I'm wearing them.
Today this guy on the bus was checking me out, and then he moved over to sit next to me. But he didn't say anything, he was talking to the guy in front of me. Then I pulled the cord to signal my stop, and he asked if I was getting off. The obvious answer was yes. Then he asked if he could have my number. I said no. He said "I moved over here just to get close to you" and I said "better luck next time."
Honestly, I understand that I am fabulous and irresistable and that I looked pretty good today (not fabulous, my hair needed a little work, but I was rockin' my lip gloss), but you think I'm going to give my number to a complete and total stranger who hasn't said a word to me before he asks for it? Does that ever actually work?
