Notes of Interest

1) Squee! (and I think the userpic is appropriate for the topic)
2) Tomorrow is Alfred University's graduation. Congrats to everyone- I am very proud of you, and I promise, the real world is only about half as scary as it seems.
3) Mother's Day is Sunday. You might want to get on that if you haven't already.
4) Being nice can be financially rewarding. I was just trying to be a good person, and got a $5 tip. This is what comes of the whole "treat every customer like you would treat your grandmother" philosophy. I actually did two very nice things today that I am happy about.
5) I graduate (kinda) next week.
6) I made real food tonight, which was very exciting, and tomorrow's lunch includes a serving of one fruit and one vegetable, at least (maybe more than one serving each). And I carried my OJ home in my backpack and my fruit home in my lunch box, which helped decrease the heaviness of them in plastic bags on my hands.
7) My shirt smelled like a guy. Which is odd because a) it hasn't been worn by any men or cuddled up next to any men and b) I just washed it yesterday. It's a mystery.
8) Life doesn't suck.

A note, before I forget--R. and I will be in Philadelphia over the 4th of July weekend. I know you probably have to work. But Phiadelphia is so much closer to D.C. than anywhere else I've been lately that I thought it couldn't hurt to let you know in case we could visit together.

well, if there was, he should climb out of the washing machine and make himself useful. There are a great many things that need doing around here that are best done by a man.
