So, because I sold Google my first born (actually, wait, I didn't have to, it was all free!), I have Google Earth and some other nifty (and quite handy on occasion) software on my computer. I decided to use said software to map out the location of a place I was referring to in my paper that didn't show up on the CIA map (I usually use the CIA World Factbook when doing quick research about a country or when looking for maps, especially when writing papers and especially when what's needed is an overview map). Because your much-beloved Empress is incredibly gifted at procrastination, she decided to play for a minute. So I looked up Arlington National Cemetery, and I can see the Tourmobile trams in the arial photos, and this amuses me perhaps more than it ought to. You could probably do it with regular google maps too, if you were so inclined.
So that's my amusing thing for the day. The Universe seems to seek balance, you ever notice? Sucky things and non-sucky things occuring together.
Anyway, back to the salt mines, as this paper isn't going to write itself. I'm actually making a touch of progress, especially when I remembered that pictures make papers longer!
