lotusbiosmI love my church. Today, we sang a processional in Hebrew, the music during the offering was a piece by Kander and Ebb, and then we sang a traditional hymn immediately after it ("Peace Like a River"). How many other churches do that? Plus, there were newcomers in my pew and they were an adorable middle-aged gay couple.
In other, completely unrelated news, I just got a splinter in my foot despite wearing two layers of socks. I don't think that's supposed to happen. Luckily I have rubbing alchohol and tweezers handy, since the last time I got one I had to go to the store and buy a first aid kit because I didn't have any tweezers and that's the only way I could buy them. (The rubbing alcohol I have b/c it's good to have for cleaning many things)
