stupid commercials

OK, I realize that most of my dear readers don't watch as much tv as I do, but there's this Secret commercial, with the girl who plays Zoe Bartlett on West Wing, and she's in Italy. There're actually more than one of them. Anyway, in this one, she's at a cafe, and the waiter brings her her coffee and then says "wow, you smell nice" or something to that effect. She then smiles kind of coyly at the camera and the screen reads "My Secret: I haven't showered in 24 hours". Now, If you shower everyday, then you shower every 24 hours. So if you wake up every morning and then take a shower, and you wake up at the same time, then every morning when you wake up, it's been about 24 hours since your last shower. This is a normal amount of time. If it said 48 hours, or 3 days or a week or whatever, then it would be "wow, you can go more than a day without a shower and people will still think you smell nice if you wear this deodarant". But it's not. It's a stupid commercial that just tells us that Italian waiters like to flirt (which is fairly realistic).
Anyway, it annoys me every damn time I see it, because it indicates a lack of actual thought.
