lotusbiosmSaw Serenity yesterday instead of going to class (no, I didn't skip, there was no class). There was free popcorn!
Joss needs to stop using people twice. Zoe in Serenity is Jasmine in Angel, and Malcom from Serenity is Caleb in Buffy. Good guys in Serenity, bad guys in the Buffyverse.
It was a good movie. Sad in bits, funny in bits, very much what you expect from Joss. There was one moment where I was reminded of the last episode of Angel, and you get the feeling that Joss is very found of strong women, and it's amusing, but overall very much a different universe than Buffy.
So go.
