Nothing, b/c a) he's in Italy (well, Spain at the moment, actually, I think), and b)he's Jewish.
Anyway, today is not only Epiphany, aka Three Kings Day and the last of the 12 Days of Christmas, it's also my half-birthday. I am officialy 22 and a half now.
Ok, so I got my hair cut this morning- still longer than shoulder length, a result of miscommunication with my hairdresser, but it was still a reasonable amount that got trimmed, and I'm happy with the length (shoulder length is actually kind of short).
Set up my Alfred desktop, and I'm transferring files.1 Some burned to CD. Trying to get the MP3 player to work with the desktop, so I can transfer music directly to it, as there are too many to burn to a CD and then transfer, but at present it's being a pain in the arse.
Just for kicks, took a quiz on my Emotional Intelligence (EQ).
I think that these aren't the best things in the world, b/c I found myself doing a great deal of "it depends", but you've only got two choices per question. Sometimes, I'd do both options. Sometimes something all together different. But I still did "well".
Speaking of doing well, I finally worked up the nerve to check my grades- two B+'s and one A-. Not bad. Hope to do better next semester. Have class all day (8 AM to 8 PM) on Wednesday and from 8 AM to 8:50 AM on Friday. Need to work in work and excercise around that, which will be easier to do when I can print things out. Some things are just better with pen and paper (and colored pencils!).
Think that's all- have some movies to write up for you all, but we may be going to see The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou this afternoon, so I'll save the reviews until later.
1. Mandie- email me your mailing address so I can send you a CD of sci-fi files, K?

Your EQ is |
50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick! 51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese. 71-90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely. 91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that. 111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt. 131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin. 150+: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar. |
